TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in Information
TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in is only available on your TeeCal Server (clients cannot access this plug-in)
TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in is not available for use when using TeeCal in Trial mode.
A TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in license code will need to be obtained before being able to use this plug-in.
TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in will sync with QuickBooks 2002 – current versions.
TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in also has the capabilities to sync with QuickBooks Online Edition.
Here is a list of the things you will be able to do with the TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in.
1.Export QuickBooks customers into TeeCal's Customers List(used for wheninitially setting up TeeCal to transfercustomers and contacts from QuickBooks into TeeCal)
2. Utilize QuickBooks Classes to simplify reporting within QuickBooks (we specify classes for all items listed on invoices)
3.TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in will sync the following items with QuickBooks
TeeCal Sales Tax Regions-> QuickBooks Sales Tax Regions
TeeCal Sales Terms-> QuickBooks Sales Terms
TeeCal Payment Methods-> QuickBooks Payment Methods
TeeCal Customer Categories -> QuickBooks Customer Types
TeeCal Sales Reps -> QuickBooks Sales Reps
TeeCal Customers and Contacts -> QuickBooks Customers List
TeeCal Invoices -> QuickBooks Invoices
TeeCal Payments -> QuickBooks Payments
Please note that Refunds are not synced automatically with QuickBooks through this plug-in. All refunds will need to be manually entered into your QuickBooks company file. There is a refunds report available located under the Reports section of TeeCal under Financial report type.
We recommend that you backup your QuickBooks data before performing the initial TeeCal to QuickBooks sync.
Do not modify anything within QuickBooks while syncing is in progress. Errors will be encountered if QuickBooks records and settings are being changed at the same time as syncing.

QuickBooks Desktop Software Sync – Setup Instructions
(Prepare QuickBooks for syncing)
- Open your QuickBooks software and open your company file that you wish to sync with.
- Click on the Edit menu and then click Preferences
- Click on Sales Tax
- Click on the Company Preferences tab
- Set “Do You Charge Sales Tax?” to Yes
- Setup your default sales tax information
- LEAVE QUICKBOOKS OPEN (initial sync requires QuickBooks to be open so that it can setup the initial connection. Once the initial sync has been completed you will not be required to open the QuickBooks software to sync.)
- Start TeeCal software
- Click Admin icon
- Enter Admin password if prompted
- Click on the QuickBooks Plug-in option
Now To Sync TeeCal with QuickBooks Desktop Software
(TeeCal QuickBooks Plug-in opens and is ready for configuration/syncing)
- Click the “Install QuickBooks Sync Driver” selection menu and then click the QuickBooks Desktop Driver.
- Click the “Sync With QuickBooks Desktop 2002 – 2008” option
- Click Browse
- Locate your QuickBooks Company file that you want to sync with and click Open
- Click the “Sync TeeCal With QuickBooks” button (located toward the top left corner of the screen)
- Be watching your QuickBooks software for a popup window
- You should see the following screen popup on the QuickBooks window.
- Select the “Yes, always; allow access even if QuickBooks is not running” option then click continue.
- Click Yes
- Click Done
(QuickBooks will show status as sync is in progress. If any errors are encountered they will be documented on the right hand side of the screen under the “QuickBooks Sync Errors” area.)
- Once the QuickBooks sync has completed you will receive this screen.
(QuickBooks should start syncing if everything is successfully connected)
Any items that may fail sync will show up on the right hand side under the area called QuickBooks Sync Errors.
