She focused on her priorities being her daughter, family, work, and school, but her social life was lacking – maybe even nonexistent. A carefree boy, Cole, ends up crossing paths with Audrey and together they learn what life and growing up really means.

Her clothes aren’t fitting, which is a big deal for teenage high school girls, but the reason for that is her secret. Sophie will not be able to hide it much longer and this novel illustrates the issues that teenage girls go through with secrets and love.

She has unconditional support from Monica, her best friend as she tries to face the responsibility and life changes of going from a teenager to adulthood, pregnant, and unmarried.

This novel tells the story of an urban teenage boy, Bobby, who is soon to be a father. His girlfriend, Nia, becomes pregnant. He goes through a life changing time as they decide what the right thing to do is and how their lives can change forever.

Emma is a 16 year old who’s life takes a turn when she finds out that she is pregnant. She struggles through tough times as her mother sends her away to have the baby so that she may save face. Emma decides that she is going to keep the baby and returns home to face many hardships. Dealing with her mother’s disappointment, losing friends, and the fact that her boyfriend does not want to accept the baby leaves Emma alone to handle things on her own.
