What:TheCNLPBoard(Board)providesleadership, advocacy, andstrategicdirectiontofacilitatecollaboration,partnerships, andnetworkingamongsttheStateofCalifornia’s trainingcommunity. TheBoardisseekingtorecruitmultiple newmembersat this time.
Board meetings areheldmonthlyandlast approximately2hours.Additionalad hocplanningand workingsessions arescheduledasnecessary. TheBoardisresponsibleforplanningandfacilitatingtheQuarterlyMeetingsand memberattendanceisrequired. The timecommitment forBoardmembersaveragesapproximately8hoursper month. Boardmembers servea2yearterm.

How:Interested statetrainingprofessionalsarerequired tocomplete thisapplicationandreceivesignatoryapprovalfromhis/hersupervisorand amemberoftheirDepartment’sExecutive/SeniorManagementstaff.
Submissionofa completedapplicationdoesnotguaranteea position on the Board;candidatesarevoteduponbythe existingBoardmembers.
