General Tender Notice

Detailed Terms & Conditions for the supply of Cattle Feed Ingredients.

The tenderers while quoting their rates should mention their experience in the field and attach a list of parties to whom they are regularly supplying feed ingredients.
The rates should be quoted by the intending parties duly delivered at Factory, site Bari Brahmina (F.O.R).
The rates quoted by the tenderers shall remain valid up to ending March, 2013 from the date of opening of tender.
The details of specifications of each item required have been explained in the Annexure-B to NIT.
The quantities required tentatively have also been shown as Annexure C to the NIT FOR CATTLE FEED PLANTINGREDIENTSestimated quantity can be increased or decreased depending upon our demand and position of funds.
The tenderers shall have to attach/furnish security amount /earnest money to the extent of 2 % of estimated quantity as shown in the annexure - D to the NIT pledged toFinancial Controller, J&K State Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd. Jammu/Srinagar.
The C.D.R.of successful tenderer shall be retained till the successful execution of supply order and the CDRS in case of others shall be released subsequently.
Full payment shall be released within a period of 20-30 days from the receipt of satisfactory Test report from our quality control lab and the payment shall be deducted on prorate basis if the material does not confirm to specifications as mentioned in the annexure-B.
In case the supplier fails to execute the supply order in time the security amount shall be forfeited and the losses incurred shall be recovered from the party.
Income/Sales Tax as applicable shall be deducted at source.
In case of any dispute, the same shall be referred to the Managing Director of the Corporation who shall work as an arbitrator and his decision what so ever shall be a final binding on both the parties.
The Civil Courts of Jammu alone shall have the jurisdiction to settle the dispute.

13. The Corporation shall reserve the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.

14. At the time of finalization of the offer the lowest tenderer shall execute an agreement that he accepts the terms & conditions shown in the NIT. In case of item where no offer is received the Purchase Committee shall negotiate the rates with the party and shall be asked to deposit the earnest money as per NIT’S clause No 6. In case the party fails to deposit the earnest money, the same shall be retained from the payments due to him.

15. In case of synthetic/non Agricultural items like Mineral Mixture, Bindokam, Vitamins, Trace Minerals, etc. for which we do not have Testing facility in our Lab. Testing charges and cost of sample shall have to be borne by the supplier except lime stone powder being a low value item and the same shall be tested by the Corporation itself.

16. The tenderer will mention his Tin No. on the offer.

17. Local Suppliers should attach Sales Tax clearance Certificate

18. That Corporation reserve the right to carry out market survey also to

arrive at the lowest market rate. The lowest rate observed by the

committee in the market shall however be offered to the lowest tenderer i.e. (L-1).
