Director/Pre-Kindergarten 5 Day Program Teacher…………………..Mrs. Traci Davis
Mrs. Davis is the director and teacher of Daylight Discovery Preschool. She will be the lead teacher for the Pre-Kindergarten 5 Day Class.
Mrs. Davisgraduated from the University of Southern Indiana and received a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Kindergarten Endorsement, and an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Davis was the Director/Preschool Teacher at Christ the KingCatholicSchool for four years. She has been teaching, developing, and directing at Daylight Discovery Preschoolfor five years.This will be Mrs. Davis’ eighth year teaching at St. John Church.

Pre-Kindergarten Assistant 5 Day Program Teacher…………….Mrs. Angela Owens
Mrs. Owens is the assistant teacher of Daylight Discovery Preschool. She will be the assistant teacher for the Pre-Kindergarten 5 Day Class.
Mrs. Owens graduated from IndianaStateUniversity and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics. Mrs. Owens has been the Tri-President of PTO at Christ the KingCatholicSchool for the past three years; where she organized and implemented various activities for the school and parish. She is excited for this opportunity to put her work and volunteer experiences into practice for Daylight Discovery Preschool. This will be Mrs. Owens’ eighth year assisting at school.
Pre-Kindergarten 3 Day Class/Preschool Teacher……………….Mrs. Kelly Hamilton
Mrs. Hamilton is the Preschool Teacher of Daylight Discovery Preschool. She is the lead teacher for both the Pre-Kindergarten 3 Day Class and Preschool Class.
Mrs. Hamilton graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education/Primary Education. She comes to our program with four years of Early Childhood teaching experience. She has taught first grade for three years at St. Mary’s Catholic School in New Albany, IN. Then, she was the Preschool Teacher at Christ the King Catholic School. She will share her Catholic faith and developmentally appropriate experiences with the children in the program. She is excited to meet new families and children at Daylight Discovery Preschool. This will be Mrs. Hamilton’s seventh year teaching at St. John Church.

Pre-Kindergarten 3 Day Class/Preschool Assistant Teacher.Mrs. Becky Lasher
Mrs. Lasher is the Preschool Assistant Teacher of Daylight Discovery Preschool. She will be assisting Mrs. Hamilton in the classroom with the children.
Mrs. Lasher was the Preschool Assistant Teacher; where she helped, cared, and shaped the children in the classroom. She teaches the Religious Education Program for the preschool age children at St. John Church. She is able to share her Catholic faith and enthusiasm with the children. This will be Mrs. Lasher seventh year being the assistant teacher.
