Directly Charged Music Service 2011-12

Cambridgeshire Music

Directly Charged Music Service 2011-12

Key Facts

Who is it for?

This is for schools that want to remove the financial risk from non-payers or fluctuations in requirements from term to term that can occur in instrumental music tuition resulting in a cost to the school. It frees up time for finance and administration staff but still requires music staff in school to be engaged and working closely with visiting teachers and the service, in order to obtain the best development in school. It’s best for schools with larger numbers of instrumental pupils.

What we will do for you:

·  Manage instrumental lesson registrations, contracts, and finances directly with parents

·  Provide information to the school for distribution to all pupils

·  Provide performance management support, access to other support services and benefits.

What does it cost?

Instrumental lesson charges are directly invoiced to parents by Cambridgeshire Music .The school pays an annual subscription based on the total activity with the service and size of the school. If the school orders any class or ensemble activity these are charged to the school as normal. Therefore the school has full knowledge of its commitment across the financial year and can plan ahead with no’ surprises’. Invoicing to schools is carried out in the autumn term and new financial year in April.
