Directions to Grangegorman
The DIT Welcome Receptionfor New Staff is being held in the DIT meeting room of the Grangegorman Development Agency (GDA) Office which is on the site of St. Brendan’s Hospital, Grangegorman Road. Dublin 7.

The gates of St. Brendan’s Hospital are directly opposite the grey ‘Clock tower Building’. There may be a Security Officer just inside the gates. Please tell them you’re going to a meeting in the GDA Offices.
Follow the green signs for the Grangegorman Development Agency. Go up the tree lined avenue, veer to the right and turn left into the large car park. Walk between the two stone buildings and enter the GDA Offices on the left.

Take the Red Line to Smithfield. The stop is at the corner of Hammond Lane and Smithfield. Walk up Smithfield (past the Park Inn hotel on your right), turn left onto King Street at the top, then right to Brunswick Street, cross Brunswick Street and walk up Grangegorman Road (by the side of Peppe’s Italian restaurant). Keep walking up the hill (about 10 minutes) until you get to the gates of St. Brendan’s Hospital on your left. Then follow the green signs for Grangegorman Development Agency.
By BUS
The10/10A bus travels up O’Connell Street and Granby Row, past the MaterHospital, and along the North Circular Road towards PhoenixPark. St Peter’s Church is on the corner where the North Circular Road turns left off New Cabra Road. Get off at the next stop after St Peter’s Church and walk down Rathdown Road or Grangegorman Road (about 5 minutes) until you get to the gates of St. Brendan’s Hospital on your right. Then follow the green signs for Grangegorman Development Agency.
By CAR
From the North Circular Road, turn down Rathdown Road or Grangegorman Road until you get to the gates of St. Brendan’s Hospital on your right. If you are coming from the Southside, drive across the bridge at Usher’s Quay/Ellis Quay into Blackhall Place. Turn right into North Brunswick Street, then left into Grangegorman Road Lower. Drive up until the gates of St. Brendan’s Hospital are on your left. Then follow the green signs for Grangegorman Development Agency. There are plenty of car parking spaces available on the site.
