Directions from Lancaster:

Take the Trough Road past Abbeystead and on towards Clitheroe.

As you enter Dunsop Bridge pass the school and the village hall on your left. At the T junction turn right towards Whitewell.

Take the next turning on the left, this is the track up to the Estate Yard, there is parking to the right of the track. Kettledrum is the building in the centre, the entrance is on the right hand side.

Directions from Clitheroe:

Take the B6478 Waddington Fell road to Newton in Bowland

Turn left at the T junction in Newton, signposted to Dunsop Bridge

Go through the village of Dunsop, and over the bridge next to Puddleducks

Follow the road up the hill past the war memorial and bend round to the left past the white railings. Ignore the right turn to the Trough Road.

Take the next turning on the left, this is the track up to the Estate Yard. There is parking to the right of the track. Kettledrum is the building in the centre, the entrance is on the right hand side.

Directions from Settle:

Take the B6478 road to Tosside and Slaidburn. Follow the road through Slaidburn and on via Newton to Dunsop Bridge.

Go through the village of Dunsop, and over the bridge next to Puddleducks

Follow the road up the hill past the war memorial and bend round to the left past the white railings. Ignore the right turn to the Trough Road.

Take the next turning on the left, this is the track up to the Estate Yard. There is parking to the right of the track. Kettledrum is the building in the centre, the entrance is on the right hand side.

Directions from Preston:

Take the road to Longridge, and then follow signs on to Chipping and Whitewell.

Continue on past the Inn at Whitewell towards Dunsop Bridge.

Go over two bridges crossing the river.

After the second bridge and just before you reach Dunsop Bridge or the

T junction with the Trough Road, look for the fish farm on your left.

Immediately opposite this take the turning to the right, up the track to the Estate Yard.

Park by the track and Kettledrum is the building in the centre, the entrance is on the right hand side.

If you reach the T junction or the white railings on your right you have gone past us!

The Stables is also accessible by public transport

The B10 bus from Clitheroe runs four times a day (Mon – Fri) through Dunsop Bridge, stopping at Puddleducks post office, and at the Trout farm opposite our lane end.

Trains from Manchester, Preston and Lancaster run to Clitheroe, where the bus interchange is next to the train station
