DIRECTIONS TO BELMONT SQUARE CONFERENCE CENTRE
From Cape Town International Airport
Option 1
Take N2 and take the M5 (South) – You would need to watch for the slip road on the left which takes you to the Klipfontein Road off ramp. The Red Cross Children’s Hospital would then be on your left. You cross over Klipfontein Road at the traffic light and you are now in Milner Road – turn right at the next set of traffic lights into Park Road – the Rondebosch Common will be on your right. Pass two more sets of traffic lights (they are very close together) and you are then in Belmont Road. Watch out for the St Joseph’s College driveway, which will be on your right – turn into this driveway, which we share with St Joseph’s College.
Option 2
Continue on the N2 and take the M3 (Muizenberg) turnoff to your left. Keep in the left hand lane and take the first turn off just after you pass the windmill, which is marked Rosebank/UCT/Woolsack Drive. Turn left at the first traffic light and then right at the second traffic light (Main Road) you will pass the Baxter Theatre on your right and at the second set of traffic lights take the slip road to your left which is Belmont Road (there is a shopping Centre, Riverside Mall) on your right and the flower sellers will be on your left. Continue over the railway bridge and Belmont Square is the second office park on your left. Again turn into the St Joseph’s College driveway on your left.
From the centre of Cape Town or the Waterfront
Take the freeway heading south or De Waal Drive, which will eventually also give you the option of taking the M3 (Muizenberg). Do not follow the N2 signs to the airport. Take the M3 (Muizenberg) and follow the directions as per Option 2 above.
From N1/M5
If you’re travelling on the N1 follow signs to the M5 (Muizenberg) and then take the Klipfontein Road off ramp. When you get to the traffic light cross over Klipfontein Road (Red Cross Children’s Hospital will be on your left side) you will then be in Milner Road – at the next set of traffic lights turn right into Park Road. Continue straight – pass two more sets of traffic lights and you are then in Belmont Road (Park becomes Belmont) watch out for St Joseph’s College driveway on your right hand side and turn into this (we share a driveway with St Joseph’s College).
