Dinner with a South Carolina Healthcare CEO

Overview

The SC ACHE Chapter is excited to provide its members an opportunity to dine and interact one-on-one with Sean Dardeau, FACHE,Chief Executive Officer at Mary Black Health System. At this dinner, participants will gain insight intoMr. Dardeau’s experience and perspective as Mary Black’s senior executive. Attendees will also have the opportunity to get direct feedback on issues of importance to them.

To keep this event as interactive and personal as possible, we are asking that interested members complete the brief questionnaire below. All completed questionnaires should be sent via email to no later than March 31.Participants who are selected from the pool of applicants will be notified by April 8. Payment of $20 will be requested at that time to partially offset the cost of your meal.

Please note that this event is limited to SC ACHE Chapter members only and selected participants are asked to notbring guests.

Mary Black Health System - Spartanburg

Sean Dardeau joined Mary Black Health System – Spartanburg as the Chief Executive Officer on March 17, 2014. Mr. Dardeau has more than 20 years of healthcare experience in hospital administration and physician practice management. Prior to accepting the position as CEO for Mary Black Health System – Spartanburg, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Trinity Medical Center, a 534-bed hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, where he oversaw the design of a new replacement hospital scheduled to open in 2016. He also built strong relationships with affiliated physicians, successfully recruited more providers and increased the satisfaction of those physicians practicing there. Previously, Mr. Dardeau was CEO of Southampton Memorial Hospital in Virginia and Lakeview Community Hospital in Alabama. He earned an MBA from Averett College in Danville, Virginia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from King College in Bristol, Tennessee.

Mr. Dardeau is a Fellow of The American College of Healthcare Executives.
