Operating Instructions
Your new Digital Radio-Controlled Clock incorporates the latest digital electronic technology. The clock incorporates a radio receiver which decodes the time signal from the national time base radio station of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The station is controlled by an atomic clock located in Ft. Collins, CO. Accuracy of 1 millionth of a second is provided. Please read the following instructions to fully utilize the advanced functions.
Install Batteries:
Open the battery cover and insert 2 size AA batteries by direction shown, then close the battery cover.
Radio Time Reception:
After installing the batteries, the radio tower icon will flash indicating that the radio-controlled clock is searching for the time signal. If a signal is received, the clock will beep and the radio tower icon will stay activated on the screen.
If the time signal was not received, the radio tower icon will disappear. You can try other locations (close to a window facing towards Colorado). Pressing the “+” button for 3 seconds triggers reception again. Do not place your clock near any sources of interference or metal surfaces, as this will affect its operation.
TIME ZONE OFFSET, Daylight Saving Time/ Standard Time
Hold the “-“ button for 3 seconds to enter time zone offset. Use “-“ to set and CLK/CAL to confirm. You can select “PT” Pacific Time, “MT” Mountain Time, “CT” Central Time, “ET” Eastern Time, together with “DST” Daylight Saving Time and “ST” Standard Time. The clock will automatically adjust from Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time, simply set the DST or ST to the offset the change.
(If time signal is not received at the moment, refer to the procedure below to enter the time and calendar manually. The clock will search for the time signal again overnight since the signal is usually stronger and clearer at night.)
Clock/Calendar Set:
Press & hold CLK/CAL for 2 seconds to enter clock / calendar set. Press “+,-“ to set Hour, then press CLK/CAL to confirm. Use the same way to set Minute, Year, Month, and Date.
Daily Alarm Set:
Press & hold ALM STE for 3 seconds to enter daily alarm set, press +, - to set hour, press ALM SET again to set minutes, press +,- to adjust, press ALM SET to exit. To turn alarm on and off, press ALM ON/OFF. An alarm icon will appear when the alarm is on. When the alarm beeps, press any key to stop the alarm until the next day. At normal time mode, press ALM SET once to read alarm time 5 seconds.
Care of your Clock:
Wipe off dirk with damp cloth dipped with mild detergent, never use volatile liquids such as thinner or alcohol to clean the clock body. Avoid dropping your clock on any hard surface. Do not place the clock outdoor or facing direct sunlight.

We warrant this clock to be free from defects in workmanship or material for a period of one year from date of purchase. During the warranty period, such defects will be repaired or the defective instrument will be replaced, at our option, without charge. This warranty does not cover damage through accident or misuse. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS AND MERCHANTABILITY, ARE HEREBY LIMITED IN DURATION TO A PERIOD ENDING ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
