New Guide Through the EGGER Decor Worlds

EGGER is presenting its new ZOOM® Design Guide with even more decor application possibilities and ideas.

The EGGER Design Guide established itself as a valuable consultation tool for carpenters and architects with the first edition published at the beginning of 2008. The new edition published in summer 2013 features 29 room sets in living and retail applications, presenting a variety of design and combination possibilities with ZOOM® decors.

Klaus Monhoff, Head of Decor and Design Management EGGER Group, explains that the Design Guide is a valuable tool for application ideas – especially for carpenters and architects: “Our ZOOM® Collection is very extensive, offering a wide variety of room scenarios showing different possibilities of decor combinations. Our design team often creates decors already having certainutilization in mind. The Design Guide presents such ideas along with further proposed applications and possibilities of the decor programme.”

With its design suggestions, the new ZOOM® Design Guide therefore serves as a guide for projects, provides material recommendations, supports the fabricator in the development projects with the customer and is a practical and straightforward tool.

A new eye for the details

The new Design Guide takes you into a total of 29 different room sets, each with three design versions. 15 construction and application projects for public buildings range from a hairdressing salon to an exhibition stand to a café. Design proposals for the kitchen, living room and bedroom are presented in 14 room sets. Design details in the rooms are included in the new Design Guide for the first time as well, next to the complete design versions. Close-ups bring details and colour combinations into focus, for example in form of individual front panels or chairs.

Each of the application pictures also show individual combinations: “Some room sets show 2 decors, while others combine three or four different decors. Presenting the chosen decors to scale as well is also interesting. The fabricator sees the effect of the proportions directly in the examples,” explains Klaus Monhoff.

All ZOOM decor groups represented

There is a new section integrated in the Design Guide which picks up on current trend topics. The broad range of applications and examples that are shown takes all decor groups in the ZOOM® Collection into account. In order to show other ideas, new application examples are provided in autumn 2013 to persons who registered the Design Guide with their unique code at The application images in the Design Guide are also coordinated with the Virtual Design Studio (VDS), a visualisation software for designing and presenting decors in actual room sets.

FOCUS ON CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPEan ZOOM® COLLECTION

The decor combinations have been selected from 150 EURODEKOR® (Melamine faced chipboard) decors and 87 EUROSPAN® Worktop decors. The enclosed delivery list provides quick product availability information for all these decors.
