Notices:
1. this group is exclusive of:
a) ware, usable in machines, devices or for pother technical purposes, manufactured of vulcanized rubber, except hard rubber (commodity item 4016), natural or composite leather (commodity item 4204) or textile material (commodity item 5911);
b) supportive belts or other supportive ware of textile materials, which purposeful influence upon supportive or holding member is carried out because of their compliance only (e.g. bandages for pregnant women, thoracal bandages, abdominal bandages, blocking devices for articulations or muscles) (Section XI);
c) refractory products of commodity item 6903; ceramics ware for laboratorial, chemical or other technical purposes of commodity item 6909;
d) optically unprocessed glass mirrors of commodity item 7009 or mirrors manufactured of non-noble or precious metals, not being optical elements (commodity item 8306 or Group 71);
e) goods of commodity items 7007, 7008, 7011, 7014, 7015 or 7017;
f) general purpose parts, specified in notice 2 to section XV, of non-noble metals (Section XV) or similar plastic goods (Group 39);

2. Subject to provisions of Notices 1 parts and accessories of machines, devices, instruments or ware, included in this group, should be classified according following rules:
a) parts and accessories, which are goods, included in one of commodity items of this group or of groups 84, 85 or 91 (except commodity items 8485, 8548 or 9033), unexceptionally should be included in relevant commodity item;
b) other parts and accessories, meant for using exclusively or mainly in particular type of machines, instruments or appliances or in several machines, instruments or appliances, included in the same commodity item (including machines, instruments or appliances of commodity items 9010, 9013 or 9031), should be included together with these machines, instruments or appliances;
c) all other parts and accessories should be included in commodity item 9033.
3. Provisions of Notices 4 to Section XVI relate as well to this group.
4. commodity item 9005 is exclusive of telescopic sights for weapons, telescopic periscopes for submarine vessels or tanks or telescopes, mountable on machines, instruments or appliances, included in this group or Section XVI; such telescopic sights and telescopes are included in commodity item 9013.
5. measuring or control optical instruments, devices or machines, which, if it were not this Notices, may be included as well as in commodity item 9013 and in commodity item 9031, are included in commodity item 9031.
6. in commodity item 9021 the term " orthopedic devices" means devices for:
- prevention or correction of corporal deformation; or
- support or immobilization of regions after decease, operation or injury.
To orthopedic devices relate footwear and special slipsoles, manufactured for correction of orthopedic states, upon condition that they or (1) fabricated to order dimensionally, or (2) are of bulk production, represented by one piece, but not pairwise and designed in the manner suitable for any foot.
7. in commodity item 9032 are included only:
a) appliances and devices for automatic regulation of consumption, level, pressure or other variable parameters of liquids or gases or for automatic regulation of temperature, regardless to the fact whether their operation based upon electric phenomena or not, changeable in accordance with parameter, subject to automatic regulation, which were engineered so as bring this parameter to desired value and restrain it, stabilizing against perturbations, permanently or periodically measuring effective magnitude; and
b) automatic regulators of electric magnitudes and appliances or devices for automatic regulation of nonelectric magnitudes, which operation based upon electric phenomena, changeable in accordance with parameter, subject to automatic regulation, which were engineered so as bring this parameter to desired value and restrain it, stabilizing against perturbations, permanently or periodically measuring effective magnitude.
