“Developing the whole child”

Dear Parents and Carers,
As you all know we are very lucky to have secured tickets for the whole school to go and see the pantomime Dick Whittington at the Theatre Royal, Bury St Edmunds on Friday 15th December. On the Wednesday prior to the performance, KS2 will be doing a workshop with a representative from the Theatre Royal to enhance the learning and enjoyment of seeing the performance. This will be followed up in the January term with an after performance workshop completing the experience.
We do hope all children will be able to attend and as tickets are not easy to secure for such a large number it is imperative you let us know if your child will not be at school that day. On the day lunch will be slightly earlier, but the usual menu will be offered. The coach will leave school at 12.30pm and arrive back at school around 4pm depending on traffic. We do ask you to be patient with us if we are slightly late! Friends of Hartest have very kindly agreed to subsidise transport and we are asking for a contribution of £12 per child, cash or cheques payable to St Edmundsbury and Ipswich MAT. There will be no school bus home that day.
Please complete and return the form below together with your payment to the school office by Friday 17th November.
