General Job Description and Responsibilities
As Do you consider yourself as a product expert who can combine technical skills with sales and marketing ideas and contribute to product positioning? Can you take responsibility for devising and executing a winning plan? Then you might be the one we are looking for! Working under the guidance of the portfolio manager in a cross functional role, you define the product strategy and development programs needed to ensure the profitable growth of the company.
  1. Developing and executing Product strategy
  1. Actively cooperate in other cross-functional activities (new product development, quality initiatives...)
  1. Ensure efficient current product portfolio by development of new Business cases and leading Launch of new products
  1. Detailed Bill of Materials, including customer quote.
  1. Supplier part specification, for optimum price / specification ratio.
  1. Technical support, meaning coordination, prioritization and final checking of the offers.
  2. Contributing to the production of sales and marketing collateral, brochures, sales tools, user’s guides, parts manuals and training material
  3. Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals and environmental well-being
  4. Work in a cross functional medium to align Customer, Sales and Manufacturing principles in the design.
  5. Work tight with purchasing to select optimum components.

Typical Tasks
  1. Variable costs estimation and quote preparation.
  1. Production process optimization.
  1. Identifying Cost down road map related to full bill of materials
  1. Supplier part specification, for optimum price / specification ratio.
  1. Data base creation and logic of calculation for selection software

Requirements
  1. 3 years’ experience in Engineering
  1. Minimum 1 year experience in Heating / cooling applications (District heating and cooling is a plus)
  1. Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or building services.
  1. Results and Metrics driven
  1. Languages: Fluency in English (German is a plus)
  1. Excellent Communication Skills (verbal and written)
  1. Integrative thinking and proven ability to understand project complexities in an industrial environment
  1. Strong problem-solving skills with good quality awareness and continuous process improvement focus.
  1. Cross organization cooperation with Sales, Operations, R&D, etc to grow business (e.g. develop new markets selected on the heat map, new products, process improvement, etc)
  1. Experience using Microsoft Office tools
