Course Objectives:

- Develop an understanding of older adult issues specific to the student's discipline/work experience.
- Develop and participate in a capstone experience (e.g., literature review, course materials, internship, geriatric interest club) that combines the student's discipline/work experience and older adult issues. )
( e.g., The course content will be determined by the instructor and the student at the beginning of the semester in which the student is enrolled in the independent study. Course content will be dependent upon the capstone experience that is agreed upon by the instructor and the student.)
