I, JOHN WILLIAM GEERING, acting in accordance with the powers delegated to me under section I3 of the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement 2012 – 2014 (DECA) by the Secretary to the Department of Defence, hereby determine the conditions of service for employees set out below.

Overtime meal allowance
I determine that the rate of overtime meal allowance in accordance with clause G8 for the purposes of paragraph F6.21 of DECA is increased to $28.80.

Meals and incidentals
I determine under paragraph H1.9 of DECA that the rates for meals and incidentals for travel, are to be adjusted in accordance with the rates listed at Schedule A.

Temporary accommodation allowance
I determine under paragraph H2.7 of DECA that the meals and incidentals components of the temporary accommodation allowance element of relocation assistance are to be adjusted in accordance with the rates listed at Schedule B to this decision.

Meal allowance for additional duty overseas
I determine under paragraph H10.2 of DECA that the conditions of employment relating to therate ofmeal allowance for additional duty overseas are to be varied in accordance with clause 21of Defence Determination 2015/37,Travelling allowance – amendment, as published in the Defence Pay and Conditions Manual Overseas Conditions of Service volume.

Part-day travel
I determine under Annex E paragraph 51 of DECA that the rate of part-day travelling allowance is increased to $47.90.

Commencement
DECA Determination No. 21 of 2015 is effective from 5 November2015.
