MEMORANDUM at Westminster of a dispute between the bishop of St David and John Fawlley and an agreement between the dean of the king’s most honourable Chapel and other of the Council that the bishop shall deliver to John Fawlley certain beasts distrained by the bishop’s officers and that the abbot of Talley, the prior of Carmerdyn, Treheren ap Morgan, and John Ogan of Boulston, shall arbitrate in the matter. William Butteler and John Fawley are to bind themselves to abide by the award.

With a note to the dean, signed J. Englefild, that he (the latter) had taken much pain in the matter and brought the parties ‘to this poin as you may see’.
