Computer registration
When you register for a course we note your name, address, phone number and social security number in a register (ladoc). In this register we keep a record of the results from your tests.
Change of address
Tell us possible change of address or phone number via ”studentportalen” thus making it possible for us to tell you change of lectures etc.
Environment
Gothenburg university is environmentally certified, which among many things means that we are trying to continually improve our ways of dealing with environmental issues. You, as one of 37.000 students at the university, are a part in this. Below follows some points, were you can contribute.
Recycling
At the student’s dining hall in “Kroken” you can sort out metal, hard plastic, glass and paper. In most of the lecturing halls there are containers for paper.
Chemicals
The overall idea in the labs is to use as little chemicals as possible and those who are the least harmful to the environment. Chemical waste has to be taken care of properly and essentially no chemicals should go with the sewage.
Energy
We must try to reduce energy loss, for instance by closing fume cupboards and shutting off lamps. A way to reduce energy consumptionand reduce air pollution is to use public transports (or go by bike).
More information

You’ll find signs on emergency exits on the walls.
First aid
On certain places you’ll find first aid kits. Contac superintendent () if something is missing. There are emergency showers for body and eyes, respectively, in the labs and in corridors.
