DELTA BY MARRIOTT FARGO OPENS OFFERING GUESTS QUALITY AND ALL THE ESSENTIALS
Fargo, ND, USA – April 19, 2017 –Delta Hotels by Marriott announced today the official grand opening of the Delta by Marriott – Fargo, ND in partnership with Marriott International. This is Delta Hotels first branded hotel in the area and signals the continued global expansion of the brand since its endorsement into the Marriott signature portfolio.

The Delta Hotels brand encompasses a rich Canadian history and is a great complement to the Marriott International portfolio. Its recent expansion into North America in Orlando signals Marriott’s plans to grow Delta Hotels hospitality globally to major gateway cities including New York, Shanghai and London. The development pipeline currently brings the brand offerings to over 80 hotels.
“We’re giving travelers and event planners an all-new experience that keys in on what’s important today,” said Norman Leslie, president of Fargo-based National Hospitality Services, the company that owns and manages the property. “It’s been a seven-month transformation that’s taken this property from great to greater. That was our goal when we approached Marriot International to work together on a property completely unique to the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area.”
The opening of Delta by Marriot – Fargo will be the first full-service Marriot brand in the region. The property is conveniently located off Interstates 29 and 94, in the former Ramada Plaza Suites property, across the street from West Acres Shopping Center. The hotel is in the heart of nearby banking, retailers, technological firms, theatres, and area attractions. It is also near Hector International Airport with complimentary shuttle service. The hotel is a short distance to Fargo-Moorhead universities—North Dakota State University, Concordia College, Minnesota State University Moorhead. Major medical centers are nearby including Sanford Fargo Medical Center, Essentia Health and Fargo VA Health Care Center. Fargodome and Scheels Arena, Fargo’s largest multi-purpose venues, are a short drive from the hotel.
The hotel offers 185 guest rooms ranging from conventional, two-room suites to specialty suites with whirlpools. Business and recreational travelers can enjoy a completely remodeled pool area with a 150’ waterslide and cascade, and a new 24/7 fitness center with state of the art equipment.
The Delta by Marriott is also home to Inspired Events, an event planning and execution service for business meetings, weddings, banquets, conventions, social events and other celebrations. The flexible 23,000 square-foot venue accommodates groups from 12 to 1200 guests.
Housed on the property is the one-of-a-kind Urban 42 Kitchen + Bar that epitomizes 21st-century North Dakota. It serves regional and global cuisine while honoring North Dakota heritage with locally sourced foods, décor and spirits.
