INVASIVE PLANTS, DSU

Learn about invasive plants, including porcelainberry, autumn olive, Amur honeysuckle, Mexican bamboo, kudzu, and more, on the DSU campus. Walk length is about 1 hour.

Meet in front of the Claude E. Phillips Herbarium (Washington Building).

Light refreshments in the Herbarium lobby afterwards.

Free copies of the publication “Mistaken Identity? Invasive Plants and their Native Look-Alikes, an Identification guide for the Mid-Atlantic” (61 pgs.) will be available.

Parking is in the area around the Barn; please stop at the DSU main gate on Rt 13 and ask for a pass, or get a pass from the Herbarium.
