Welcome

  1. East v West Game recap

The game was played this past Sunday and was well attended. It is important we support this game so that Downingtown can continue to host every other year. The rising senior players really stepped up and did a great job selling 50/50 tickets and t-shirts. We were able to raise $1000 forJuvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF).

  1. Gear order forms/sample items due May 13th.

To ensure that the gear items would be delivered before the end of the school year, ALL orders are now DUE MAY 13th. Please make sure your player collects all money for items sold and return the form to Coach Matta by Wednesday may 13th!

  1. Blue and Gold Camp – June 15th –June 19th2015

There are only 88 campers registered so far. Please help up spread the word. Our goal is 150 campers.

  1. Golf Outing

There are only 5 golfers registered and no dinner registrations so far. Please spread the word! We need at least 50 golfers to get the special rate. Golfers and Dinner only guest should register on the website ASAP. Golf rate 150 pp (600 for a foursome) and Dinner fee 50pp.

  1. Parent Social

The 2015 Parent Social will be held at Pizzeria Uno’s on Friday, August 28th. This will be a small fundraiser as Uno’s will donate a percentage of the food to DEFA.

  1. PJ Whelihan’s fundraiser update

This fundraiser was a success. Thanks to all the families that came out to the Dine and Donate event.

  1. Gold card update

The Gold card team is working with Glen to get vendors on the Gold Card. He will contact Eric-owner of Taco Maya which is very popular with the boys. The boys will be given a “pre-sale” cheat sheet to help them better market the cards.

  1. 2014 Highlight video is done and will hopefully be distributed next week.
