DearInternational Marketing Manager,

I am preparing a feature onvocational providers/aviation schools that acceptinternational students onto aviation courses for theJuly 2013 issue of Study Travel Magazine and wondered if you would like to share your comments with our readers.

Study Travel Magazine is a monthly publication read by more than 32,000 global study abroad agents and editorial focuses on language, secondary, tertiary and vocational learning around the world.

The article will explore the types of programmes international students can apply to study (either at diploma, under- or postgraduate degree level etc), what each programme typically comprises, how popular this type of programming is with an international audience and how you market these programmes overseas.

There is no charge to be included in this editorial so if interested in participating please simply answer the following few questions and return to me by May 1. Your institutions name will be quoted in the piece along with the name of an applicable spokesperson.

Q. How long have you accepted international students at your institution?

Q. What programmes related to the field of aviation do you currently offer and which appeal most to international students? Please give any reasons why. Please also detail the level of study (diploma, under-, postgraduate degree).

Q. What do these programmes typically comprise/consist of, i.e.; what components/modules are studied during the course? What is the duration time of the programme? What can an international student expect to pay for this course?

Q. What is the admission criteria for an international student onto these programmes (a specific English language level – do they need a particular Ielts or Toefl test score?) Is additional ESL supportprovided at the school/institute if needed? Do they require any study or practical experience in a relevant field prior to commencement?

Q. What are your top source countries for overseas students and why? Have these changed recently? Please give any reasons. Do you have plans to recruit more students from certain countries/regions?

Q.Do you utilise education consultants/study abroad advisors for recruitment purposes? If so, how long have you done so? Are you looking to expand your agent network?

Q. Howelse do you marketthe course/your courses to international students (e.g. student fairs, recruiting trips, membership of marketing organisation etc) and has this changed at all recently?

Q. And lastly, why do you think this particular vocation is appealing to international students?

Should you have any questionsor require any more informationpleasedo let me know.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Nicola
