Dear Wisconsin River Trail Supporter:
The Wisconsin River Trail Hike and Bike Banquet Committee would like to invite you back for our 2nd Annual Hike and Bike Banquet to be held on November 14, 2015, with doors opening at 5:00 pm. Last year we raised approximately $18,000 at this event and were able to pay for the engineering costs and commit to a $55,000 donation to our Phase One project that will take our Sanders Creek Trail to our Floyd Von Haden boat landing, creating a safe and fun ½ mile trail. We plan on beginning construction with a ribbon-cutting ceremony soon as we recently received news of being a recipient of the DNR Knowles-Nelson $200,000 grant that was applied for earlier this year.
We are giving you the first opportunity to purchase your $20.00/person ticket that will include the same delicious meal of beef tips and mashed potatoes, salad, roll, and vegetable that we had last year at Boscobel Bowl & Banquet. If you purchase your ticket before November 1st, we will put you in a free, early bird drawing for your choice of a Packer or Badger fire pit ring valued at $200. There will only be 200 people maximum allowed at this event. And don’t forget that your ticket is considered a tax donation.
There are a few things we plan on doing differently this year. One is that all our tickets for the drawings that occur on the tables (last year we had a vacation, women’s, men’s, electronics, and children’s tables) will only be $5.00/chance or 5 tickets/$20.00. We want to make sure that everyone has the ability to afford a ticket to win. We will have less on the live auction side of our event as well.
Also, we are starting something new. For every $20 you spend before November 1st on raffle tickets, you will receive an additional $10 in “bike bucks”. “Bike bucks” can be used as cash towards the Chinese raffles and/or table drawings (vacation, women’s, men’s, electronics, and children’s). So if you choose to send in $40.00 extra dollars (tax deductible), you would have $10.00 extra “Bike bucks” to try to win more drawing prizes.

7:00-7:30 (Briefer than last year) Live Auction Planned
7:30-10:00 Chinese Raffles, Winners of Silent Auctions Announced, Winners of Table Drawings Announced
