Dear Weimar FFA State Conventioneer:

Are you ready? We are going to Corpus! We are so VERY excited to share this experience with you! It is going to be great. We will be representingWeimar, Texas/Weimar HS/Weimar FFA.

We must prepare. Two sets of Official FFA attire should go with each of you. Two pair of black pants or skirts, at least 2 white shirts, FFA tie or scarf, comfy black shoes with closed toe and back, black socks/hose and your FFA Jacket. Casual clothes should also be included; BRING YOUR SWIMMING SUIT and a towel. Plan for the weather forecast (hot, hot, and did I mention? hot). We will all get along great, get plenty of rest when the time comes, stay hydrated, be very excited and enthusiastic, don’t whine, budget our money and always be smart about our personal safety.

Wewill depart from WHS Ag Building at 1:00pm on Sunday, July 12th. On Monday and Tuesday, we will be volunteering inthe Weimar FFA sponsored Day of Service activity on North Beach -please bring tennis shoes for this occasionANDwear your Day of Service t-shirt and bathing suit.

During our time in Ft. Worth, we will attend leadership workshops, listen to motivational speakers, vote on Texas FFA Constitution amendments and business, receive the National Chapter award and be recognized as a GOLD ranked Golden Horizon Award Chapter, go crazy as we watch the Weimar scholarship recipient being recognized, yell for the Lone Star Degree recipients, congratulate and watch for Noah’s Convention Chronicle pics, meet new people, make friends, and always have a POSITIVE attitude towards each other and the people we come into contact with!

We will be staying at La Quinta North in Corpus. Your registration, tickets for all events, two lunches, and hotel have all been paid. Your responsibility will be to pay for your remaining meals. There is also an exhibit hall where souvenir items may be found.
