As an engineering summer intern, the responsibilities will include assisting in the planning, implementation, and operations of software engineering projects.
The selected candidate for this summer intern position will become involved in several technical aspects of the design and development activities. The selected candidate will work as a Software Developer on a critical development project. The developer would be responsible for work in the following areas: requirements review, development of design, code, and test. Position will be based, in Tucson, Arizona.
Honeywell USA will only consider students who are authorized to work in the United States on a full-time and permanent basis (does not include practical training).

Basic Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent, at an accredited college or university.
• Must have completed at a minimum the sophomore year at the college level.
• Must be able to participate in an internship, prior to completing current degree program.
Additional Qualifications:
• Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Extra-curricular/leadership
• Object Oriented Programming & Design knowledge (C++ knowledge preferred).
• Microsoft OS knowledge.
• Good planning and team-player skills.
• Individual should be a self-starter, organized and punctual.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Motivated to drive improvements in a challenging environment.
• Participate in and support multi-disciplined product development project teams.
