Dear Prospective Vendor,

Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor in our mall. Generations of Harmony, LLC, offers 10,000 square feet of retail space to showcase your antiques and collectibles. The idea for our mall was that of Jean Ingvalson, a long-time entrepreneur and local business person. The building was constructed in 2008 and designed just for your kind of business, with air-conditioning and in-floor heat, for year round comfort. We are located on the north edge of Harmony, MN, in the industrial park. Harmony was chosen because of its location: it is nestled in Southeast MN’s Historic Bluff Country, and draws thousands of tourists each year to nearby attractions, including caves, Amish country, a bike trail, and other antique shops. Generations of Harmony is located directly along U.S. Hwy 52.

We are open 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., year round, with the exception of Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. On-site security provides extra peace of mind.

At Generations of Harmony, we value our vendors and keep things as simple as possible for you:

We clerk all items in the mall for you.

You have no working hours, other than to set-up and maintain your space…just keep it clean and filled.

We do not collect commission on sales. You already know your expenses at the beginning of each

month. Monthly payment for your sales, minus credit card and electronic check fees, is available for

pick-up on the first day of the following month or your check payment can be mailed to you (you must

provide a self-addressed stamped envelope) by the fifth day of the following month. A printout of

all items sold is also included.

Generations of Harmony collects and sends all sales tax to the State of Minnesota for all vendors.

We are active in the Harmony Chamber of Commerce and and advertise throughout the year.

Sales reports are emailed Mondays and Thursdays after closing to those who provide an email address.

We provide rental space to you to merchandise your antiques and collectibles. We expect that all merchandise will be nice, clean and safe for the public to purchase. It is very important that the mall be kept clean and odor-free. We will not permit, for example, musty or mildew items. It is in the best interest of all vendors to keep the mall as nice as possible for each other and our customers. Knives, with the sole exception of butter knives, are permitted only in rented locked cases.

Rental spaces are taped off on the floor and vendors are responsible to bring in your own shelving/walls to separate your space from the space(s) next to yours. No plastic shelving, please.

A layout of the mall is attached, with rental spaces numbered. Please inquire to find out which spaces are currently available for rent. A size and pricing list is also attached.

Generations of Harmony does require all vendors to use a mall tag on all merchandise items. Tags are available to purchase from the desk. The cost is $4.00 for 200 tags. We do this for consistency and simplicity for our customers and clerks.

Upon becoming a vendor and signing a Rental Agreement, first and last months’ rents are due, and rent payment is due on the first of each month thereafter. Spaces are rented month-to-month, with no lease to sign. For further details about being a vendor, please ask to read a Rental Agreement.

Effective 1/01/12, New Generations of Harmony, LLC is required to issue to each vendor a Federal Form 1099-K each year. The form is regarding sales paid for by credit card and electronic check only. You will need to provide either your Social Security number or your Federal Tax ID number upon moving in.
