Dear parents/guardians:
We are offering you the opportunity to schedule and participate in a one-hour conference with your student and his/her counselor. This conference is different than parent/teacher visitation because we cover topics pertinent to your child’s post-secondary plans. Conferencing topics may include:
· Review of transcript
· College and career planning and discussion of Career Cruising project
· Post-Secondary placement tests such as the ACT, SAT, Accuplacer and ASVAB
· PLAN test results
· Any other important questions/concerns
This will be a positive conference focusing on the strengths and future aspirations of your child. Please sign up for an appointment by following the appointment website directions below. We prefer you use the appointment website, however if you can’t find a suitable time on the website, please call Sara Halbur in Student Services at 715-424-6755. Sophomore conferences will be held from March 3 through the end of April.
Please sign up for your conference by March 28.
Please schedule your child’s conference during a study hall or class he/she is comfortable missing.
