CONDITIONS OF HIRE

Upper Clapton Rugby Club:

We reserve the right to cancel any booking and/or stop moneys from the deposit if rules are broken, damage is caused or if the Hall is not used for the function as stated under the purpose of hire.

Closing Times:

The bar will be open no later than 11.15pm.

Entertainment, including discos and live bands, must be finished by midnight.

The club house must be vacant of all guests by 12.30am

The car park gates will close at 1.00am

Drugs: Drinking

Drugs will not be tolerated at any time in or around the club house unless they are medically subscribed.

In the event of any suspicion of drug taking the Police will be informed and you will be asked to vacate the premises. Only drinks purchased from the bar may be consumed anywhere on the club premises, anyone found with drinks purchased offsite will be asked to leave immediately

Smoking:

It is against the law to smoke within the club house. All guests should be reminded to smoke outside where ash trays are available.

The Club House & Grounds:

The changing room area is off limits at all times, as is the Golf Range.

Drinking is not permitted outside at any time, even by those guests that wish to smoke.

Use of the Kitchen and Preparing Food on the Premises:

Due to heath and safety regulations and liability insurance food must not be prepared on site unless employing or being over scene by the kitchen franchisee ( the fee for this service is £10.00 per hour) The exception to this rule is if an out side catering company is used by the hirer who has the relevant insurance or the food is prepared off site and brought to the club house ready to serve.

Behaviour:

UNRULY BEHAVIOUR will not be tolerated at any time in or out of the club house.

Please make sure your guests respect our neighbours at all times.

ABUSE of the bar and kitchen staff will not be tolerated and will result in immediate ejection from the premises.

Deposits:

Breakage and cleaning deposit is £150.00

The club house must also be left in the state you found it in and you expected to sweep through the club house and remove rubbish etc, or outside cleaners will be used at a cost of £40.00, which will be deducted from your deposit. Please note the use of table confetti should be avoided as it damages the glass washer mechanism

Proof of Age

If your event is to celebrate an18th or 21st please ensure your guests can produce the appropriate ID

Failure to do so will mean they cannot be served at the bar with alcoholic beverages
