Dear Middle School Students:
On October 23, 2009, The Parent Teacher Association at Ada Merritt K-8 Center is sponsoring the annual International Food Festival. This event will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the courtyard. There will be 14 booths offering a wide range of international foods.
Middle School students will have the opportunity to volunteer their assistance and receive community and service hours for their participation. If you are interested in contributing to this wonderful celebration, sign up for a booth and time of your choice on the Community and Service bulletin board located next to the After School Care office. In order to participate you will also need to return your completed parent permission form. Each booth will be under the supervision of an adult parent volunteer who will verify your community and service hours. When not working at a booth, you may enjoy the festivities under parental supervision.
We hope that you will avail yourself of this wonderful opportunity to earn community and service hours.
