Dear LTHS Student:
This letter pertains to your request to bring a date to the 2018 LTHS Prom. We are excited that you plan to attend our event, and we want you to feel comfortable bringing a date that will share this important evening with you. In order to allow non-LTHS persons to attend, we have to follow certain safety and security guidelines designed to ensure that all attendees have a pleasant experience.
Please see the following guidelines to help you determine if your date is eligible to attend the LTHS prom:
Students who may attend prom, with stipulations:
- Home schooled studentscan attend as a guest of LTHS student—must complete the second page of this document, attach a copy of driver’s license and submit to the Front Office by Thursday, March 29, 2018.
- Student attending another schoolcan attend as a guest of LTHS student - must complete the second page of this document or must have a letter or e-mail from their school administrator indicating that they are in good standing at their campus. Documentation must be received by Thursday, March 29, 2018.
- Guests over 18—in college, former LTHS students, or not currently enrolled in a schoolcan attend as guest of an LTHS student - must complete the second page of this document, attach a copy of driver’s license and submit to the Front Office by Thursday, March 29, 2018.
- Guests21 and Over —will not be allowed to attend.
As the LTHS student, you are responsible for the behavior of your date. It is your responsibility to make sure your date meets these guidelines, and that all appropriate information is submitted by Thursday, March 29, 2018. The date will not be allowed to enter prom if they have not satisfied the requirements to attend. Please see Ms. Pauly, Mrs. Johnsonor a campus administrator if you have any questions.
