Dear Richardson Families,
Parent/Teacher Conferences are coming up soon and will be held on October 18th and 19th, 2017. We will be scheduling Parent/Teacher Conferences electronically this year with “Pick-A-Time”.
“Pick-A-Time” allows each family to schedule a conference by logging into the system, checking the teacher’s schedule, and clicking on the time desired. It also has a feature that will initiate an e-mail reminder. Additionally, you may log back into the program at a later date to change conference time(s), if a conflict arises. The system will be available for scheduling fromSeptember 25 – Oct. 13, 2017. The system is available from any computer (see directions attached to this letter).
A few things to know about conferences:
- FIRST TIME USERS–Have your child’s lunch number and birthday accessiblein order to create an account.
- Conference times are on a “first come, first serve” basis, please schedule one as soon as possible.
- If your child has more than 1 teacher (applies to 5th and 6th graders), you will only schedule a conference with the homeroom teacher. If you would like to meet with one of the other teachers, please contact them directly via email.
- If your child has more than one academic teacher (Learning Center, Speech, Reading Resource),all conferences will take place in the child’s homeroom and the other staff members will join you if required.
- Art, Music and PE teachers will be available for conferences too. Just select their name(s) and schedule a time with that teacher.
- 5th and 6th Grade Parents: If your child has a Traveling Art, Music or PE teacher you may contact them my email for a conference. Email addresses are available at rhe.lsr7.org/staff/
- Mrs. Reidlinger (ASPIRE) will only be available on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
We believe “Pick-A-Time” will continue to simplify the entire process of Parent/Teacher Conference scheduling. We look forward to seeing each of you at Parent Teacher Conferences.

1)Create an account by entering an email address and a password (at least 6 characters) and click “Login/Create Account”.

Logging in for the first time? Simply click "Login/Create Account" and answer the questions there.
If you are already registered, enter both your email and password and push "Login/Create Account" to view your scheduled appointment.
Please record the date and time you selected, as well as your password (in case you want to change your appointment later).
2)Fill out all the required fields requested and click “OK” to register. The first/last name fields should include your name, not your student’s name.

3)Enter your child’s Student ID (lunch number), child’s birthday using the format shown (xx/xx/xxxx). (Do not include ANY leading zeros) “Click Add”.

If you have multiple children at the school, simply add one at a time.

Note: If you have more than one child attending the SAME school, you can continue adding your children by filling out Student ID, birthday and clicking “Add” so that you can see available appointments for all your children at that school on the next screen.
4) Click on the day and time you would like to make your appointments.
A legend will appear with your child’s teacher. Black squares display appointments you have made and white squares are unavailable appointments (already booked or the teacher is unavailable).
To schedule your appointment, click the colored square for the teacher and time you would like. If you would like a reminder, complete the reminder information and click “Create Appointment”. Repeat until all appointments have been scheduled. (The time slot will turn black to indicate your appointment with this teacher.)
5) Click “Printable Schedule” to print your schedule. Use your browser’s print command to print. Click the “Return” button on the screen (not keyboard) when finished printing.
6) Click “Logout” when completed.
7) If you would like to change or cancel your appointments, you will need to login (steps 1 and 2) and click “Your Schedule” and choose either “Cancel” or “Change Time”. Follow the directions of the screen. Note: Don’t forget to print your new schedule.
Important note***** If you have a unique situation in which your child would need separate parental conferences, please contact the office on how to schedule the additional conference. (The first can still be created following the above steps.)
