Dear Friends of The Journey,

We’re going to Ireland and you’re invited to join us! We were going to Israel but because of the recent war with Hamas it was impossible to get anyone to sign up. Hopefully, we’ll be going back to The Holy Land (12th time) in November.

It was still early enough for a change in plans so we jumped at the opportunity to go on this tour of Ireland. This is something Melanie and I have talked about doing for years. We are both Irish. Melanie’s grandfather Brown was actually one of the Irish immigrants that helped build Ellis Island. His name is engraved there. I am a first generation American. My father came over on a boat with my grandparents. We are looking forward to tracing our roots while in Ireland.

Ireland is called The Emerald Isle. It’s a patchwork of green and the scenery is beautiful. There is so much to do and see. Plus the Irish are known for their warmth and hospitality and they love Americans. Everyone we have ever talked to who has been to Ireland raves about it.

Take a look at our preliminary brochure and see if you don’t agree this will be a truly magnificent, once-in-a-lifetime adventure. As usual, the most important components of a successful and fun tour are quality hotels, food, bus, driver and Guide! Although we’ll be doing this trip for the first time along with you, we are still using the same tour company that does all our Israel tours. It was a complete surprise to us to learn that they have been doing Ireland tours for many years. We have a long standing relationship and I am confident we will be well taken care of.

So, c’mon! Let’s go! We have to have all this wrapped up by mid-March. We’re running just a little behind because of the Israel cancellation so call the office as soon as you can with your deposit so we can reserve your seat. Just barely mentioning it on the air we already have 15 people. That’s a strong indicator that the tour is going to fill up. We have a total of 50 seats. That’s it. So give Shelly or Tammy a call.

We’re going to have the time of our lives on this tour. Melanie and I love you and absolutely love hosting you. You will be traveling with a wonderful group of folks who love The Lord and each other. Let’s go to Ireland and make some fantastic memories.

Love in Christ,

Tom Dooley
