Czech American TV is looking for a Fundraising manager. The person will be responsible for communicating and retaining existing sponsors and looking for new sponsors. Responsibilities include writing to any businesses who would be interested in Czech American TV's world wide viewership. The Fundraising manager should be based in the USA, with basic computer skills and some experience in marketing and fundraising. It will be a freelance opportunity. Czech American TV is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing you the Czech culture traditions, genealogy, travel, cuisine, and events related to Czech Heritage. For seven years Czech American TV broadcasts worldwide once a week via the Internet in the English language. CATV is staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers but it takes a lot of resources to provide quality programming such as Czech Kitchen, Famous Czechs, Czech Class, reports from the Czech Republic and the United States. In order to continue to provide the best viewing experience, we are always looking to increase the quality of our website streaming including possibly upgrading to HDTV and upgrading our technical equipment. Broadcasting, web streaming, editing, postproduction and web mastering all take up a lot of technical expense and the CATV team is always looking to improve the quality of our broadcasts but we need new sponsors and more supporters. For Czech American TV to continue to broadcasts we must have this financial support. For more information contact John Honner, Executive Director/Producer (708) 813-0028 or
