October 6, 2012
Dear friends and neighbors,
My son, Charlie Simmons, is a proud member of the Port Chester High School Marching Band and is working to meet his 2012-2013 band program quota. Charlie will be coming to your block this weekend selling fruit as a fundraiser to help achieve his goal of $1,800. The fruit is reasonably priced, delivered fresh and of the highest quality.
If you would consider purchasing a case (or more!) it would help the band greatly. The fruit makes great holiday gifts and will be delivered the first weekend in December (Charlie will bring it directly to your door)!
This year’s marching band program is “The Lion King”. The money each member raises will help them continue to compete as a nationally ranked marching band as well as to travel to Florida in the winter of 2013 for an exhibition at Disney World. They can’t do it without help though. Fruit purchases or cash donations are greatly appreciated.
We thank you in advance for supporting Charlie and the ‘Pride of Port Chester Band’ and wish you and your family well.
Sincerely,
Amy Simmons
