Dear Fellow Business Executive,

At a recent Lake Country Rotary meeting, someone made the comment, “if you want to get something done in the community, get Rotary involved”. Although it garnered laughter, it also rang true, as over the years our Rotary’s member’s time and financial support have impacted not only the Hartland area, but also the world.

From the construction of the Splash Pad to the eradication of Purple Loosestrife, scholarships to Kettle Moraine and Arrowhead seniors, student of the month recognition from the four area high schools, co-sponsor of the Yule Feed Families Food Drive for over twenty years, generating over $660,000 to the four area food pantries in that span, monetary donations to area organizations such as AngelsGrace Hospice, Lake Area Free Clinic and a support fund for families of area deployed military personnel are just some of the ways that we make an impact locally.

Internationally, we are involved with Rotary’s goal of eradicating polio from world, which has seen polio reduced by 99.9% (only two countries still are polio active, Pakistan and Afghanistan) since our efforts began in 1985. Our own Rotary club members have traveled to Haiti for the past twenty-threeyears to help with veterinary training and education, vision clinics and water purification projects.

We are asking you to consider becoming a Lake Country Rotary Sponsor through a sponsorship of our three fundraising events. All of our funds go to projects such as those listed above. It’s never an easy decision…which organizations to support as all are worthwhile. In terms of making an impact, both locally and internationally, it’s hard to match what Rotary does. Our members, not only commit to this financially, but also with their time and talent. Rotary’s motto is “Service above Self”, and at Lake County Rotary we believe in it.

The attached sheets describe the 2016 sponsorship opportunities. We hope you’ll commit to one, in affect telling us that we are making an impact and to continue to do so.

Thank you for considering our request.
