Dear Emmaus Community,
June!!!! Really! How did that happen? We are half way into the year. Like you needed a reminder huh!
Again a busy month for all of us. School has come to a close. We have had two seniors graduate. One is headed to Florida on the 24th of June for college. I know a lot of you have had graduates. Some of you have even taken the step into retirement.
Some of you are getting ready for you family vacations. Have a beautiful summer and enjoy life. Rick and I are experiencing a beautiful week with Our Lord in the majestic beauty of Gatlinburg. The mountains have such beauty everyone we look. God is such a Great God to provide us with such a splendor picture to look at. Actually His beauty is everywhere. We experience it every day in the kindness and sweetness of our family, friends and church family. Take a moment and remember those precious memories and times you've spent with Our King.
Our Emmaus Family members have experienced so many illnesses and deaths this last month. I couldn't begin to name them for fear of missing someone. Please lift these families in prayer. God knows who they are.
If you know of an Elizabethtown Emmaus member that has passed away this year please let us know. As of 2015 The Emmaus Community is presenting the family Beautiful Clinging Cross.
Join our Elizabethtown Community Prayer and Praise Facebook Page, we always have prayer warriors wanting to pray and lift you up in prayer. We will cry, smile and rejoice with you!
Can't wait to hear what God did in and thru the lives of those that worked and attended the REC this last month.
As you gear up for all the family barbecues, vacations or whatever the Summer has in store for you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE put August 29 on your calendar!!!!!!
We will discuss all the business of this at the gathering Saturday Night. There will be sign ups and teams to join. This is a day of service to Camp Nikao. We will spruce up the place a little. Everyone can do something.
At 5 pm we will have an Emmaus Family Potluck Picnic. Then we will gather in the Worship Center for a Praise and Worship time. This will take the place of our September gathering. Please join us on that day.
Until then God Bless < Stay Safe.
In His Grip,
Vickie Green
Elizabethtown Emmaus Community Chairperson
