Dear Elks Lodge Secretary,

It is with great excitement for me to announce the 2017 State Elks Golf Tournament.

This year the tournament will be held at the Portage Country Club on Monday June 19.

In your package, you will find detailed information about the 2017 Tournament, hotel information, and local information from the Portage Chamber of Commerce.

Following the tournament, dinner will be provided at the Portage Elks #675 on 201 W Conant Street. Hole prizes and raffles will be awarded at 3:30pm at the Lodge, followed by dinner at 4:00pm.

This year we are also offering hole sponsorship. Here is a chance for your group or Lodge to be recognized for your charitable donation. The Past State Presidents and the Portage Elks Past Exalted Rulers have already donated $100 each for their sponsorship. These funds will go toward Portage Elks and Elks activities. Recognition will be posted on the golf course and read at the Lodge. Please take a moment to consider participating in this fund raiser even if your Lodge can’t make it to the Tournament.

2017 State Elks Association State Golf Tournament

When: Monday June 19, 2017 with a 10:00am Shotgun Start

Where:Portage Country Club

Country Club Road

Portage, WI 53901 (608-742-5121)

Cost:$75 per golfer. (Special rate for those wanting to play on Sunday: 18 holes w/ cart for $30. Must call in advance for a tee time and have a valid Elks Membership Card)

Includes:18 holes with a cart, range balls, burger or brat on the turn, and baked chicken, sliced roast beef, or vegetarian lasagna dinner at the Portage Elks Lodge.

Format:4 Person Scramble. This tournament will be handicapped and open to Elks and Elks friends with a minimum of one Elk per team. Co-ed foursomes are welcome. There will be 50/50 raffles on the par 3’s, team skins for $20, and the winners will receive 2017 Elks State Champion wind shirt.

Deadline for Registration: Friday June 9, 2017. Late registration will be $85 per golfer.
