Dear ELC Families, I Can T Believe That Spring Is Fast Approaching This Also Means That

Dear ELC Families,
I can’t believe that spring is fast approaching!! This also means that ELC pre-registration and Kindergarten registration is about to begin. Please be on the look-out for more information!

Next Monday, March 6, your child was invited to present on our theme, Be Safe and Be a Friend, at the School Committee meeting at the Senior Center. Please arrive at 6:20 pm and you are welcome to leave after we present at approximately 6:45. Please complete the permission slip so we will have enough Bee Hats.

Please welcome Miss Mary Redding and Miss Linnea Lavertyto the ELC as our new paraprofessionals. Miss Linnea will be working in Miss Debbie’s room and Miss Mary will be providing short-term supports to students who are struggling behaviorally or academically.

I am excited to inform you that all ELC students who will be going to Kindergarten next year will be able to complete all registration paperwork at the ELC and will have priority placement. Please look for a letter from me with more information.

Drop- Off and Pick-Up Safety Procedures- Check out the information on the back of this letter. Please adhere to the time requirements as it maximizes student and staff safety. We appreciate your support!

Additionally, during these times the parking lot is a bit hazardous. Please make sure you are following Parking Lot Etiquette. Please be aware to not block the fire lanes, and the entrances and exits. All families understand that “double parking” is a necessity, but please be cognizant of other cars and, most importantly, other people. Please spend the extra second to look around you!

Teachers have begun reading “What to Do When There Is an Emergency at School!”- a social story developed by Pete Dolan. We will be practicing our safety drills within the next couple of months.
