The Resort has completed phase one of two phases of renovations to their two residential suites: TheMaile Three Bedroom SuiteandThe Lokelani Three Bedroom Suite. The property invested$3 million in the renovations,led by international design firm, BraytonHughes. The hard goods installation was completed in November 2013. The full renovation including all soft goods is slated to be completed in July 2014.

Maile Suite - 2014 Rates: $16,500 per night

5,000-square-foot (465-square-metre) suite, located on the top floor, is appropriately named: Maile is fragrant native plant traditionally used to create beautiful leis for royalty and other people of significance. The suite features three spacious bedrooms and can accommodate up to eight people.Each of the three bedrooms has its own full marble bathroom. Recent renovations include:

  • Modernized soft goods including a complete stylistic and color palette renewal
  • All new hard goodsincluding teak hardwood floors, wall coverings and fixtures
  • Curated original Hawaiian art collection
  • Fully integrated Sonos sound system and other cutting-edge technology

Guests also enjoy the use of a rental car throughout the stay, three pre-reserved cabanas at the Fountain Pool, and daily breakfast for everyone registered to the suite. Lokelani Suite– 2014 Rates $16,500 per night

  • Located on 3rd floor. 4200 sq ft., private lanai, new landscaping, including the suite's namesake flowers Lokelani "heavenly rose" plants,firepits, and sunning/lounge areas throughout the 5000 square feet of private outdoor garden living space.
  • Modernized soft goods including a complete stylistic and color palette renewal.
  • All new hard goods including teak hardwood floors, wall coverings and fixtures.
  • King bed, two queen beds and a third room with a king bed.
  • The suite includes three full-size marble bathrooms and two additional 3/4 baths with showers. The master bathroom features A dramatic circular tub is the centerpiece of the master bathroom.

  • Corner 2 bedroom Suite 4th & 6th floors; 1,800 sf ft., plus lanai - 180 degree ocean views

  • The suite has a dining area that seats six & large living room
  • One full marble bathroom, plus guest powder room with shower

Club Floor Oceanfront Prime

  • 8th Floor; 1,400 sq.ft, plus lanai - 180 degree ocean views

The Club Floor Lounge and Club Concierge services are reserved for the exclusive use of those guests registered on the Club Floor. Accommodations do not come with private butler service, but can be arranged by Concierge.

The names, photographs and short bios of each team member on the resort’s concierge pages of the website paint the picture of an established team, highly regarded by repeat guests. Just a look through this section and it becomes clear these professionals can save guests research time by personalizing itineraries, selecting the best and most appropriate activity partners, and using their clout to pull off seemingly impossible requests.

Examples of VIP Experience arranged by the concierge team.

A private helicopter trip to Hana, located on the eastern coast of the island known for it's lush and tropical landscape. The helicopter normally departs from the heliport 30 minutes from the resort but we were able to secure a closer location at Makena golf course located 10 minutes from the resort. Once in Hana, a private guide was able to highlight the must see locations and concluded the tour at a private estate for a private lu'au. The guest spent the night at the beautiful Travassa Hotel Hana and was picked up via private helicopter the following morning to view the south side of the island by air before landing back in Makena.

Four Seasons Resort Maui recently arranged a sunset sail for a guest who wanted to propose to his fiancé. Concierges made the reservation for them and secured a professional photographer to be on board and "act" as if he was part of the crew. He was coordinated to make sure he would be ready to take their photo as soon he dropped to one knee to capture her reaction. He finished the evening by taking several shots of the happy couple and they were able to order prints for all of their friends and family.

24-Hour On-Site Reservations Team:

Thomas Boeker, Reservations Manager and a team of 16 reservations agents are available by telephone and e-mail 24 hours a day, every day of the year and, once a guest makes contact, the agent ‘owns’ the reservation.
