Dear Busy Bee of Room 107, August 2016
I wanted to send you a quick note to tell you that I am so happy that you are in my class this year! We will be learning about many exciting things & making lots of happy memories!
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY….
Supplies you will need to bring to school:
ü 1 one inch 3 ring binder - no bigger
ü 1 pack of #2 pencils
ü Eraser
ü pencil case
ü 1 yellow highlighter - must be yellow
ü 4 pocket folders - red, blue, yellow, green, if possible
ü 2 or 3 large glue sticks
ü post-it notes
ü 2 notebooks - one for reading and one for math
ü Ear buds will be needed at some point, however, not right at the start of the year
In addition, if possible, please bring:
ü black permanent marker
ü box of Kleenex
ü hand sanitizer
ü disinfectant wipes
Please do NOT bring in a large “Trapper Keeper” style of binder. It will not fit in your desk.
ASSIGNMENT: Write a letter and bring it with you on the first day of school. In your note, please tell me something interesting about yourself. For example, this can be something you can do or are good at, a place you have visited or lived, something you’ve achieved, facts about you and your family/pets, etc. Make sure it is information the whole class can know. Also, you may include questions for me to respond to on Day 1.
We are going to have a challenging and fun 4th Grade year!
