Dear 5th Grade Parents,

We are at the final countdown!!! I just wanted to give you a heads up on next week’s activities. On Monday, we will be having our Yearbook Signing Party at 10:30a.m. Yearbooks will be sent home this Friday. This party is just a fun get together for the kids where they will have their hardcover yearbooks (if purchased and remembered to bring in!) and will socialize with their friends and classmates. The 5th Grade Yearbook Supplements will also be handed out on this day, so if there is anyone who did not order a hardcover yearbook, no worries, the Supplement will be available for your child to have signed by his/her friends. Cookies and water will be served.

Tuesday after school we will be very busy preparing to decorate for the 5th Grade Party and Graduation. If you are able, we would LOVE to have your help! There is a Sign Up Genius that Stephanie Wells sent out if you would like to be involved. Many hands make little work ;)

Wednesday is the 5th Grade Party from 10-12. There will be pizza and water served, however, if your child does want to purchase a sack lunch or milk, it will be available for lunch. We will have a DJ to entertain us with games and dances, a photo booth for fun, friend pic opportunities and there will be a special visit from the Smallcakes cupcake truck!!! The party is for students and anyone volunteering to help. Please see the Sign Up Genius. We will be doing more preparation after school on Wednesday for the big day and we need helpers here too!

Thursday is Graduation Day!!!! Children must arrive dressed in nice Graduation attire. Seating for parents will not begin until 8:45a.m., so there is no need for you to arrive early with your child. Please do NOT forget to bring your tickets! There will be a reception table outside the café where tickets will be collected prior to admittance. Please refer to the letter included in the envelope with your tickets regarding the day’s schedule.

I want to thank everyone who has been such a tremendous help in the planning and preparation for the Graduation of Vaughan’s Class of 2015! We look forward to a wonderful final week of Elementary School!

Sincerely,

Amy Vitelli
