Dear 4-H Camp Counselors, CIT S and Ambassadors

May 17, 2016

Dear 4-H Camp Counselors, CIT’s and Ambassadors:

4-H Camp is approaching fast! We have a lot to still accomplish in the weeks leading up to 4-H camp. Please review the enclosed schedule closely.

If you are not able to attend any portion of this schedule, please call or e-mail Patty to discuss what you will need to do to make up those missed portions.

Enclosed with this letter is your 4-H Camp Counselor/CIT/Ambassador Packet. You will need to complete the registration form and submit payment for 4-H camp no later than the last Camp Workday. In addition, your medical form, early release, restricted release, liability release, etc. must be completed and submitted by the last camp work day. Please don’t delay!

As a camp counseling group, you made the decision to form a Relay for Life Team for June 10. If you wish to get a Counselors 4 a Cure t-shirt for Relay for Life, you need to bring your money on Saturday, May 21. The cost is as follows S-XL - $12, 2XL - $14, 3XL - $15. If you wish to participate in the actual Relay for a Life event on June 10, we will be at the Clark County Fairgrounds from 5:30 PM to 9 PM. Encourage family and friends to donate to our team and search for a team and type in Counselors 4 a Cure.

In addition, counselors decided to order crew sweatshirts for this year’s camp. If you wish to purchase a crew sweatshirt, you need to bring your money on Saturday, May 21. The cost is as follows S-XL - $12, 2XL - $14 and 3XL - $15. These shirts will have the camp logo on the front and the crew number on the back and will match as close as possible to your crew’s camp t-shirt color. Ambassadors may also get a crew sweatshirt if you want and the sweatshirt will be the same color as your ambassador t-shirts.

Once again we will be serving breakfast, lunch and snacks during Camp Workdays, June 7-10. To help us off-set the costs of food and beverages, we ask that each camp counselor, CIT and ambassador bring $20. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know.

We look forward to another great 4-H camp and know it is only possible through your dedication, enthusiasm and passion for “Making the Best Better”. See you soon!

Sincerely,

Patty House
