Unveiling History’s Greatest Moment #5

Pastor Don Pickney, Scottsdale, AZ
Father, we are looking at this event, as we have spoken about the manifold nature of You and Your wisdom, we are looking at this event and how manifold is it. There are so many facets.
As we see so many particular things that are part and parcel of this event. Every single one facet within itself is very glorious. Your thoughts about this event are so wonderful to us - towards us. You said,“As I have thought, so shall I do. As I have purposed, no man can stop Me.”
[Isa 14:24-27 LITV “Jehovah of Hosts has sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so it shall be; and as I have purposed, it shall rise up; (25) to break Assyria in My land, and trample him on My mountains. Then his yoke shall depart from them, and his burden shall depart from his shoulders. (26) This is the purpose that is purposed on all the earth; and this the hand that is stretched out on all the nations. (27) For Jehovah of Hosts has purposed. And who shall reverse it? And His hand is stretched out. Who shall turn it back?”]
You thought about this. You thought about the end of this age.
Is it possible that You would bring us to the end of this age and never be able to have your glory fill the earth? Is it possible that we come to the end of time, to the end of this, this of man’s dispensation on the earth, and have to end it bysaying, “Well, Satan always got the upper hand. Somehow he always was able to prevent it. He was always able to uninspired that which God was attempting to inspire. His tricks, his deception always seemed to come in and stop it.” Will we end this age without the world seeing your immeasurable mercy and goodness and grace to those who are yours?
You have called us the light of the world. You have said of us that we are a city set on a hill, that cannot be hid. You have already placed us in this place to where the world is looking at us and watching us. Sometimes laughing at us and mocking us, sometimes thinking that we are crazy. We boast of great things, but do very little. Because somehow it seems like that something always gets in the way. The flaw in that human Christian leader causes him to go astray, standing in leadership before the Body of Christ but brings shame from his own weakness and flaw and failure and the world points because we are a city set on a hill that cannot be hid.
We speak of your greatness. We endure life with every little. We say “Our God will supply all of our need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” We survive with meager sustenance, many times as your people go from bill to bill and paycheck to paycheck. We say to the world we are set apart unto God and that we are the glorious church, the Body of Christ! They look at us as being just slightly beneath them, below them. And they watch as our evangelists come on television and manipulate and maneuver and try every way possible to raise enough finances for the next step of their plan or their purpose. And the world turns it [the television] on with us and watches and they think, “This is better than ours, the way our corporations operate? This is better than the way we build our tall buildings? And this that they are doing is a better way of doing it than we are?” Not impressed, but totally unimpressed with the system the church has had to operate in because of its people. But a glorious people in a church will make the church glorious. And influential people filling a church will make that church influential…will cause great things to be done.
Father, this time in which You have called us must and needs be a time of repentance for us, the church. Repentance to open our hearts and enlarge our hearts, as You said [about] Solomon, that, God enlarged his heart as the sands of the seashore innumerable…in order for the great, great, great riches and wealth and abundance to be brought to him, to come to him.
[1Ki 4:21-28 MESSAGE“Solomon was sovereign over all the kingdoms from the River Euphrates in the east to the country of the Philistines in the west, all the way to the border of Egypt. They brought tribute and were vassals of Solomon all his life. (22) One day's food supply for Solomon's household was: 185 bushels of fine flour 375 bushels of meal 10 grain-fed cattle 20 range cattle 100 sheep and miscellaneous deer, gazelles, roebucks, and choice fowl. (24) Solomon was sovereign over everything, countries and kings, west of the River Euphrates from Tiphsah to Gaza. Peace reigned everywhere. (25) Throughout Solomon's life, everyone in Israel and Judah lived safe and sound, all of them from Dan in the north to Beersheba in the south--content with what they had. (26) Solomon had forty thousand stalls for chariot horses and twelve thousand horsemen. (27) The district managers, each according to his assigned month, delivered food supplies for King Solomon and all who sat at the king's table; there was always plenty. (28) They also brought to the designated place their assigned quota of barley and straw for the horses. (29) And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore.”]
Your plan, Your purpose….You took a man, like Solomon, unregenerate…a man whose spirit was not born of You…a man in whom You could only communicate with him from the outside….from dreams or visions or a seer or a prophet speaking to him, because his own heart was not regenerated, made knew, born of Your seed as we are here today.
And now, You have been patient. You sent the great Seed, who Himself, Jesus, said, “Except a go into the ground and die, I remain alone, just one seed alone, but if I die, I will come forth and I will bring forth many like Me.”
And so, Father God, You were patient and You waited. The Body of Christ birthed over 2,000 years ago, has gone through processes of like what seeds go through, where for years, the church was at it were, almost as it were dead in the earth. But You knew it wasn’t. It was incubating and changing and coming forth and through the church and through the great reformations and then the revivals and then the awakenings and then the revelation and the enlightment that came to the Body of Christ, You have brought us to this place to where we can stand and understand and not just say but understand who we are and where we came from and how we got here and what we are here for and where we are going.
We came out of Almighty God. We were born of an incorruptible seed by the Word of God that lives and abides forever. There is no one; there is nothing in all of this earth like us, the righteousness of God in the earth! The righteous of God through Christ in the earth - New Creations. Alien beings living among mere humanity, that we came out of heaven, that we came out of the loins of our Father God through the incorruptible seed, the sperm seed of the Word of God which came and regenerated us and made us new creations and caused the new birth to come in us. And now we walk and talk and we are in the earth with mere human beings, expect God dwells in us and He is in us, dwells within us. “Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world.”
We cannot even compare ourselves with mere humanity or mere human beings, for we are the Body of Christ. We are the great nation of God, the great Zion from heaven where God dwells in the midst of His people here now. Andyou (the Church)have been patient and You (the Church)have waited. And you say, Oh, how I have waited!
(At this point, Pastor Don switches from a prophetic prayer to a direct prophecy)
Says the Lord. “Oh, how I have (also) been patient, sayeth God. How I have longed, longing more deeply than you can know, for the longing of the Almighty God surpasses any longing that you could ever have experienced, sayeth God. For the depths of My being, sayeth God, is a universe greater than any longing from the depth of your being. Whatever, sayeth the Lord, you have been patient for, pales in comparison to the long patience that I have had, sayeth God, even as the mercy which you have is incomparable to the mercy which I have, says the Lord.
[James 5:7-8 KJV “ Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. (8) Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.”]
There is none like Me. I am, sayeth God, and there is none other but Me. And I have reached out and I have desired, sayeth the Lord, a people through which I would be able to fulfill My plans and purposes in the earth.
Do you think, sayeth the Lord, that I would create this earth, this planet, and place in it the exact same minerals and jewels and materials that I possess in My abode in heaven? For know this, sayeth the Lord, that when I created this planet for you, when I created this earth for My glory and My purpose, the gold which I have had in heaven, streets of pure gold, great jewels, jasper more beautiful than you can possibly image, and jewels and glorious materials in heaven.
Do you think, sayeth God, that it was an accident that when I created this planet and I put those same materials in this earth? I hid them, and I placed them, sayeth God, here for a purpose.
Do you think, sayeth the Lord, that My purpose and My plan were by happenstance? Do you know not know, sayeth God, that I have known where every mineral deposit, where all the riches of this world are located, for I placed them there, sayeth the Lord.
And Am I not the God that spoke and said, and I would ‘give you the treasures of darkness and hidden riches in secret places that you may know that I the Lord God, who calls you by name, am the God of Israel?’ Can you not see? Can you not hear? Can you not understand, sayeth the Lord, My patience and My longing for this; for this moment; for this time in the history of mankind, when I will finish out this age unparalleled in everything that makes Me glorious and makes up My glory, says the Lord.
[Isaiah 45:2-3 MESSAGE "I'll go ahead of you, clearing and paving the road. I'll break down bronze city gates, smash padlocks, kick down barred entrances. (3) I'll lead you to buried treasures, secret caches of valuables-- Confirmations that it is, in fact, I, GOD, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name.”]
Very soon, sayeth God, even we’re at the door of major events in the earth that will send natural humanity into a whirlwind of experience and peril, and darkness will come from it. And the system that is in the earth today, the economic system, the systems of commerce that is in the earththis day that was born of the harlot Babylon, that came out of the seed of the wicked of Babylon; that of which the earth has nourished itself and enriched itself from it, sayeth God.
And I am about, sayeth the Lord, to cast her out, and I am about to take the reigns Myself, sayeth the Lord, of(for) in this event. A plan and a purpose of the international commerce will begin to implode and will begin to crumble and will begin to fall away, until it will leave, sayeth the Lord, and open up the way of righteousness and of peace and of joy and will open the door for My people to rise to the very highest places of the earth, to the very pinnacles of wealth and influence and ability in the earth, sayeth God.
For when I think of wealth that I put in the earth, sayeth the Lord, I think of ability in the earth. The ability to fulfill My will and My plan and My purpose, sayeth God.
I did not go to the world to build My tabernacle in the wilderness. I put it in the hands of My people and then I went to them to build it. I did not turn to the commercial men of Mesopotamia and of Babylon and of the East, I did not turn to them to build My temple, sayeth God. I put it into the hands of My servant David and into the hands of My people Israel and I turned to them and when they did it, it was not difficult for them because they had so much that it was not hard for them to do it, sayeth God.
And now, sayeth the Lord, I have a plan and a purpose to reach every village and every hamlet and every city. I have an image, sayeth God, inside of Me to transform the life of mankind in the earth away from greed and covertness and give them a comfort that comes from love, joy and peace in Me, sayeth God.
The people who will go to them will go to them gloriously. They will be splendorous. They will sparkle and be splendid as they carry My plan and My purpose into the earth and they are called the church and they are called My people and they are called My body in the earth, sayeth the Lord. And I will do great wonders, sayeth God.
[Isaiah 60:5 MOFFATT “Then you shall fear and be bright; and your heart shall dread and swell. Because the rich sea trade and wealth of nations shall be given to you; the resources of nations shall come to you.”]
And that old economic system, mark My words, sayeth the Lord, that the system of money, the system of taxation, the system of trade, the systems of the markets of trade of the world will disappear. They will go. I will cast them out, sayeth the Lord. Literally, they will be no more. They are not forever. They are not eternal. They have not always been. The oldest of this very generation can remember when these institutions were brought out and created. The monetary system is not even that old, sayeth the Lord, and the marketplace for the stocks and bonds of all of the trade of the world is a relatively new invention of man, sayeth the Lord. And I can put My finger, just one finger, says the Lord, towards it, and it will be no more. For fear and greed, not love, joy and peace, not vision for noble and good things, but fear and greed, and covertness, rules it, says the Lord. And it shall be no more.
And it will try, says the Lord, after I place these things in your hands, and you rise to the very most powerful places of influence in the world and My people all over the world begin to rise and Gentiles see the brightness of their rising and kings begin to come to them and begin to reach out to them. And it will be a norm and it will be the thing that will take place, says God. And for a period of time the world will forget that old system of commerce ever really existed. It will be just the ruble and the shambles.
There will come a day, says the Lord, while you are at the greatest, at the very highest point of your glory, that it will attempt to rise again. The world will see you, and they will see how easy it is for you and that you are at ease and they will see how successful you are and how well established you are in your vision and developing in total prosperity in everything you are setting your hand to do prospering. And they will begin, out of envy for you, they will begin to try to emulate and they will try to raise up again that old system, says God. But when they do so, and they try to raise it up to compete against you, and against what you are doing, I will laugh at and mock them says the Lord. I will say to them, “You look like an old worn out harlot.” I will laugh at them and mock them and I will cause songs to be sung of them and I will call them ‘you worn out whore!’ I will say to them, as they try to raise up.
[Isaiah 23:14-18 “Wail, ships of Tarshish, your strong seaports all in ruins! (15) …Tyre will be forgotten…. And eventually will stage a comeback, but it will be the comeback of a worn-out whore, as in the song: (16) "Take a harp, circle the city, unremembered whore. Sing your old songs, your many old songs. Maybe someone will remember." (17) …GOD will look in on Tyre. She'll go back to her old whoring trade, selling herself to the highest bidder, doing anything with anyone--promiscuous with all the kingdoms of earth--for a fee. (18) But everything she gets, all the money she takes in, will be turned over to GOD. It will not be put in banks. Her profits will be put to the use of GOD-Aware, GOD-Serving-People, providing plenty of food and the best of clothing.”]
