Day 1- Watch Video Examples on Alice, YouTube and Alice.org

Day2- Complete Tutorials on Alice software-look at scenes, objects and characters available; be sure to check both the Local Gallery and the Web Gallery

Day 3- Read pages 1-5 as a class and answer the questions below. Turn in the Visual Storytelling and Storyboard booklet.

Begin Brainstorm Activity using SmartArt in Word. The directions for the brainstorming activity are below. Make sure you save the file as a 2007 document. The brainstorm activity can be added to this document. You may want to insert a page break first.

  1. Open MS WORD and INSERT > SMARTART > HIERARCHY

  1. Be sure to include the Title, Introduction, Plot (charactersevents), Conclusion and Environment.
  2. You may have several SMART ART organizers for different Ideas.
  3. Right Click on the Shapes of the Smart Art to ADD SHAPES
  4. Add Assistant allows you to connect to the shape you have selected.
  5. Once you’ve completed the brainstorming process, get your teachers approval to move on to the writing process for your story that will be made into a movie using Alice Storytelling.
