If test score is not met, make sure that:

The student is properly registered with the NAIA Eligibility Center

All official high school transcripts are sent to the NAIA Eligibility Center

All standardized test scores (ACT and/or SAT) are officially submitted to the NAIA Eligibility Center

A course schedule for the student’s first term of post-secondary identification (full-time university enrollment) is submitted to the NAIA Eligibility Center

This form is sent along with applicable supplemental information

Supplemental Information

The Home School Committee may also take into account:

  • Official high school transcript that includes course titles, course grades, signature of home school administrator, the ninth grade start date and the graduation date
  • Evidence that at-home education was conducted in accordance with state laws
  • Sub-scores from any official sitting for the SAT or ACT
  • Additional transcripts from any other high school, college or nontraditional educational program attended
  • Test scores from alternative and/or state standardized tests (supplemental test scores may be evaluated in conjunction with, but shall not replace, the ACT and/or SAT)
  • Letters testifying to student’s overall academic preparedness from unrelated third parties
  • Plan of action for academic accountability during the student’s first term of attendance at NAIA institution
