CHINESE PROFICIENCY SEMINARS

All teachers of Chinese in State School are invited to participate in a professional learning seminar, facilitated by an experienced Chinese language educator, Mr Tong Lin. Tong Lin is currently working as a classroom teacher at Auburn High School in Victoria. In the past 3 years, he established and implemented Victoria’s first secondary Bilingual/CLIL Chinese program, which includes both language and humanities studies
The focus of the seminar will be language proficiency for classroom teachers and the pedagogy of engaged classrooms.
Two seminars will be conducted – one seminar in Brisbane and one seminar in Cairns.
As a Chinese teacher in a State School, there will be no cost to your school. Teachers of Chinese in the non-government sector can register for one of the small number of places (maximum of 5 places per venue) set aside for non-government teachers, but a registration fee will apply.
All teachers who wish to participate must complete the registration form in order secure a place.

Cost:No cost for teachers in State Schools, however, registration is essential

$280 – Non-members in non-government schools

Limited spaces! Participants will be allocated a place when their registration (including payment if appropriate) is complete. Confirmation will be sent to participants.

Refunds & Returns Policy
Refund requests must be made in writing. Refunds requested one month or more before the advertised date will receive a full refund. Refunds requested more than two weeks and less than one month beforehand will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee. No refunds will be made if the request is received less than 2 weeks before the advertised date unless there is a fault or it has been wrongly described.
