ABSTRACT

AIM obbiettivo / This work aims to identify the different forms of Social capital, also, the virtues which come from interpersonal relationships among workers, in two companies connected to the economic and social project entitled Communion Economy. This study presents the concept of Social Capital as a possiblity to understand human relations in the work organizatons area.
METHOD metodo / The methodology was composed by two parts: data collection and field research.
The data collection was based on: communion economy, social capital, relational values, information about the Focolare Movement and organizational theories.
The field research was done in two communion economy companies through the application of self-response questionnaires and interviews with businessmen, managers and workers.
The statistics analysis with results presented in graphics and tables, and the content analysis were used in the analysis of data and discussion.
CONCLUSIONS
conclusioni / The studies revealed, in both companies, the existence of different forms of social capital, furthermore, it identified interpersonal relations which are full of social virtues, in all hierarchical levels. For this reason, we could take for granted that it is possible to construct human relations which are enriched by social values at work.
