“Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations.” Genesis 6:9
Noah was quite different from the people and practices of those around him. His voice, to his generation, was heard because he preached righteousness, and more importantly, because he practiced righteousness, and walked with God. His actions made him an outcast from the world. For more then 100 years, while building the Ark, people would have thought of him as a lunatic, and yet God’s testimony declared that he was just and perfect. I wonder how you or I would measure up when comparing what the world thinks about us, with what God says about us.

Dear friends in Christ: Greetings to you once again from Ghana!

Evangelism:

In the teen class this past Sunday, I was teaching the children about prayer, and how we align ourselves with the will of God in prayer, as we are guided by the word of God, and the Spirit of God. I asked the teens to pray in faith for God to provide us more gospel tracts, as our supply was nearly finished. Then young Emmanuel was cleaning out his room, and the old Sunday school cabinet, where he discovered a couple more boxes filled with gospel tracts. I look forward to telling the children at tomorrows lesson how the Lord answered our prayers by supplying us with more tracts in this unusual manner. This find was very timely and should last us until our next shipment arrives in February. The other morning I provided Isaac with a few gospel bracelets for his small class. He was glad to share the gospel with the children, and provide them this small gift with gospel verses. I also asked him to try to share with a JW girl that he works with. He is reluctant because he does not want to engage her in arguments. I encouraged him to simply present the gift, and refrain from arguing. I hope he will try. Yesterday a woman was passing by the house, and I asked my wife to invite her to church. My wife at first resisted, since she was already a bit far from us, but I kept insisting, and so she finally invited her. The woman stopped and thanked us for the invitation, and my wife explained the meeting times, and that we would love to see her. So we are praying she will appear at our Sunday meetings.

Teen Class:

As we study through the book of Acts we are finding many practical lessons for our instruction, such as using the name “Christian” with care and respect towards the person whose name it represents. I made up several wall charts, which include maps, and outlines of Acts, to help guide us in our journey through this marvelous book. I have an interesting film about the shipwreck of Paul in Malta, which I may decide to show them later. This will help the children appreciate that the book of Acts involves real historical places, people, and events.

Friday Gospel Hour:

The children continue to attend in numbers each Friday evening. Of late we have been showing some nice Christian films, and using these as a basis for helping the children, either with spiritual lessons, or a gospel message. I spoke with the children recently about the importance of diligence, hard work, and why God is not happy with laziness. Yesterday, we showed a Billy Graham film, which had a clear gospel presentation. I liked the film because of its portrayal of a teen boy coming under conviction of sin, repenting, and believing in Christ for salvation. Isaac explained the film to the children, and provided a short gospel message at the end. We trust the Spirit of God will help these children find salvation.

Sunday School:

My wife reports that several new faces have been seen in her Sunday school class. As Christmas approaches, we anticipate many children being absent from Sunday school, as many will be busy, or traveling to relatives during their Christmas break. My wife is preparing a special Christmas package for each child in her class, as well as something for the teen class. Though just a small gift, the children will be very excited to take something home. It seems we always see children coming and going from our Sunday school, but the Lord always brings more children for us to teach.

In Christ,

Daniel & Priscilla Webster
