Daniel L. Muchow

Partner

Daniel Muchow practices as an environmental attorney with significant experience in water law, but what sets him apart from other lawyers, environmental or otherwise, is his work with jet fuel consortiums. He has built a team of lawyers that serves major airports across multiple states, from coast to coast. He also is a member of the firm’s governing Executive Committee, chairing both its Finance and Billing Committees. Over his long career, Dan has represented clients and agencies with all aspects of water rights, regulations, waste and reclamation issues, and other matters relating to environmental law; one could not ask for a more seasoned and trustworthy advisor. However, few attorneys anywhere possess his grasp of jet fuel consortiums, let alone have assembled a full team to assist such parties in controlling the cost of delivering the fuel to their member airlines’ aircraft, which is critical to their survival and profitability.

Dan has appeared before such state and federal agencies as the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and U.S. Department of Interior, as well as municipal agencies such as the City of Phoenix Wastewater Department and even the Mexican Comision de Fomento Minero (Mexico City), as Dan represents any business or other interest dealing with them. With respect to jet fuel consortiums, his clients understandably are airlines and airline alliances.

Regardless of the client or the area of law, Dan approaches the practice of law as a businessman. A West Point graduate, he is disciplined and client-centered in his deliberations, seeking the greatest value for his clients while building a practice that itself constitutes differentiated value that cannot be easily replicated.
